This year's 2nd Croatian Congress on Forest Therapy: Krka National Park / Šibenik, September 22 and 23, 2023. will be a meeting place for scientists from all over the world who will share, the newest findings of the effectiveness of Forest Medicine and Forest Therapy according to the settings of evidence-based medicine not only within the scientific and academic community but also with interested participants and the general public, the results of the latest scientific research conducted both in the Eastern and in the Western part od Academic Globe.
Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing.” It is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments.
More than 15 leading authorities in the field of Forest Medicine will come behind the distant parts of the world - Japan, Korea, USA, Australia, but also Germany, Italy, Turkey, Serbia to share their scientific research experiences, but also their attitude and reflections on the world and life with all of you who will be part of this largest, although organized scientific conference dedicated to Forest Medicine in Croatia. This year gathering will be a unique interlinking exchange between scientists, researchers and professionals from all over the world in the field of Forest Medicine, Public and environmental health, CAM and official biomedicine, Forestry, Agricuture and Tourism all on the basis of sustainability and sustainable development.
Inspirational lectures will be accompanied by a series of interactive workshops in open to all conference participants who will, together with certified mediators, immerse themselves in the forests and nature of one of the most beautiful nature parks in the world - Krka National Park, which is also a co-organizer and host of this Conference.
Krka National Park will not leave anyone indifferent. Iti s named after the river Krka (ancient Greek: Kyrikos) that it encloses. It is located along the middle-lower course of the Krka River in central Dalmatia, in Šibenik-Knin county, downstream Miljevci area, and just a few kilometers northeast of the city of Šibenik. The Krka National Park belongs to the Southern European (Mediterranean and sub-Mediterranean) region. Due to its special position and the mosaic distribution of various types of habitats, it is characterized by exceptionally rich and varied flora and fauna and its beauty and richness will be absorbed by all 5 senses
We will publish a collection of abstracts to all interested participants, among which selected authors will be invited to publish in a Journal of Applied Health Science, issued by University of Applied Health Science Zagreb (www.jahs.eu ).

The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of original abstracts according to the following submission guidelines the latest by 1 July 2023.
The abstracts submitted will be assessed, peer reviewed and grouped by section. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral. All presented abstracts as oral will be published in the book of abstracts.

Preparation of the Abstract text:
− use Microsoft Word for Windows software support for word processing (Version XP or higher)
− use font type: Calibri (Body)
− use a font size of 10 typographic points with support for all Croatian characters (size 10 pt)
− should contain a maximum of 1500 characters including spaces
− use single space with justified alignment, margins 3.0 cm Left, 2.5 cm Top, Bottom and Right
− should write the text in one paragraph without indenting the first sentence of the paragraph
− should contain aim/aims, materials and methods, main results, and a short conclusion
− should not contain tables, graphs, figures, etc.
